Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic acid) is required for normal growth and brain activity, for normal hair pigment and hair growth, for the formation of stress hormones and healthy adrenal gland function.

The Recommended Daily Allowance is 6 milligrams and dietary sources are peanuts, kidney, liver, avocado, mushrooms, seeds and nuts, pumpkins, egg yolks, other
dairy produce, dates, fish, wholegrain cereals and wholegrain bread, dates and bananas.
