Vitamins and SupplementsWe all know that we need vitamins and possibly some supplements in order to maintain our health, but which ones do we need, what do they do and where do we
find them? We need to ensure that our diet includes all those which are necessary and in the right quantities.

There are some vitamin supplements which can be taken with food, some without food and some such as herbal products may be taken either way, but you should always take them as instructed by your practitioner. It is also worth remembering that supplements should be taken at room temperature with cool water. Iced water or other iced drinks can slow down the absorption of the supplement and hot drinks can destroy nutrients.
